VARIETIES
Cabernet Sauvignon, selected from three estates, fermented and aged separately.
Merlot, La Muralla Estate.
Syrah, Les Comes Estate.
Tempranillo, La Muralla Estate.
FERMENTATION
Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes 16-day maceration together with its skins to be afterwards aged for 12 months in French or American oak casks (depending on the estate).
Merlot is macerated for 16 days and is aged for 14 months in French oak casks.
Syrah and Tempranillo are macerated for 18 days to be aged for 6 months in French oak casks, then resting in tank before blending. |
